Driving in France - Justin's Top Tip!

Justin Posted on 27th October 2014 by Justin

Regrettably I am back in the office after a week of hot sunshine working (ok, yes, socialising too!) in Aquitaine. Whilst driving the back roads of the region I was flashed many times by oncoming drivers. I thought I would share with blog readers what this actually means...it's your 30 second warning that you're about to drive past a gendarme with a speed radar gun! This gendarme will leap from nowhere, he will have a very large moustache and no sense of humour. So, the next time someone flashes you, it does not mean turn your lights on/off, it means slow down and save yourself 90 euros! You don't expect much courtesy from fellow drivers in France but I rather like this little custom...
