A colourful and proudly Basque fishing port and holiday town, famous for the quality and range of Basque-influenced seafood restaurants. A superb & safe town beach in a sheltered bay, excellent for younger children. Lovely area for coastal & mountain walks, cycling (quite hilly!); surf beaches, golf courses and tennis all nearby. Charming Basque villages to visit. You can even pop over the border for tapas in San Sebastian! A vivid, rich & memorable area.


Comfortable, homely apartment with the most amazing views

Luz Bay View is located on the 2nd floor of an attractive 1930s residence on St Jean de Luz seafront. Access is via stairs or stylish wire-cage lift.

The apartment itself is spacious (approx. 100m2), light, and furnished in classic contemporary style. There are many character features including polished wood floors, high ceilings, tall French doors & windows, fireplace with marble mantlepiece.

It is laid out on one level - the bedrooms, bathrooms, living and kitchen are off a long corridor from the entrance to the front of the building. The rooms comprise:

Beautiful living room with exceptional bay views via French doors; large corner sofa plus chairs seating 6-8 altogether, TV, fireplace. Access to juliet balcony and sitting balcony with small garden table & chairs

Well-equipped kitchen with breakfast table & chairs (seats 6), and all usual appliances - see Equipment panel for details

Three bedrooms:

  • Master double bedroom with 160cm double bed, wardrobe, French doors open on to balcony with bay views
  • Second double bedroom with 160cm double bed, chest of drawers, French doors open on to juliet balcony with bay views
  • Children's bedroom with bunk beds (2 90x190cm beds), window with sea views

The entrance to the reisdence is gated; there is an off-road parking space in front of the apartment building.
