Why Ile de Ré?
Attractive & spacious suites in chic, understated boutique hotel on the fabulous Ile de Ré
Les Vignes de la Chapelle is so named after the vineyards with their backdrop of Sainte Marie village and chapel - it's a lovely setting. With just 19 rooms altogether, it retains the special, personal atmosphere of a relaxed and refined boutique hotel; the lovely staff are friendly and attentive in a low-key way which we liked very much and isn't easy to achieve.
The main hotel building houses reception, the breakfast room, guests' lounge containing a selection of books & board games, and overlooks the terrace and pool.
Outside is a delightful, partially covered area of tables and chairs, where you can have breakfast or drinks & light snacks during the day, before or after a dip in the heated pool.
Hotel rooms are accessed via a path through the hotel gardens.
The Vine Suites are located on the southern edge of the hotel, overlooking the vines towards the ocean. They are a good size - 32m2 altogether, and all at ground floor level - and comprise:
