Holiday Booking Admin: Travel Insurance

Travel insurance icon Now for the boring but essential stuff...

...It is a requirement of our booking terms and conditions that you take travel insurance to protect yourself and your family (and we also recommend protecting your car if you are driving your own vehicle into France). Please ensure your policy includes third party liability and does not exclude third party properties (specifically holiday homes) - just in case you accidentally cause major damage to the property you're staying in.

If you have an existing travel insurance policy or household policy, please check your cover to see if this includes the appropriate cover.

If you need to purchase cover, we recommend you contact Voyager Insurance by clicking on the link to the right (NB you must be a UK resident to be able to buy this insurance). Voyager offers a policy with or without breakdown cover, specially designed for European holidays. Prices start from around £7 for an adult and £17 for European Vehicle Assistance.

You will also be asked to provide a security deposit when renting one of the properties for which we are booking agents. This is designed to cover everyday breakages and is separate to the insurance requirement.
