2012 Tour de France & Etape du Tour

The Tour de France is one of the great live sporting events - watch the world's fittest pain-seekers suffer whilst tucking into a gourmet picnic on the roadside. Or even take part yourself!

The second amateur stage of 2012 Tour route - the Etape du Tour - is in Aquitaine on Bastille Day July 14th, starting from Pau and heading into the Pyrenees, all 197 kms long and 4400m of climb of it! The pros ride the same route on July 18th.
