Where will I find the countryside?
'Gascony' is in fact quite a broad term and not one that has official borders; it's a local name.

Incorporated with this region you will find Les Landes forest, the Bordeaux wine country, the foothills of the Bearn. However, the real heart of Gascony follows the course of the Adour through the Pays Chalosse, Armagnac and Albret.

This is where the population becomes increasingly sparce, the pace of life slows noticeably, and every duck looks scared.
